Tango Capital of Scotland. There are two weekly milongas, classes 5 nights a week, with professional teacher Ricardo Oría and Jenny Frances, a community of over 150 regular dancers (the ETS has 180 subscribers), and regular visits by dancers , musicians and teachers. Glasgow how has an up and coming tango scene with over 100 dancers attending the classes every week. There are classes on several days of the week. The are long running classes by Claire on Thursdays at the St Francis centre, with Ricardo and Jenny, Scotland's resident professional tango teacher on Wednesdays evenings, Wim and Catherine on Mondays, John and Sarah, Tuesdays and Danny sand Laura, Saturdays . There is also a regular milionga on Wednesdays. Other events include visiting teachers and special milongas.

Tango Dundee was established in the summer of 2005, but has not been able to continue as a regular event (2006). However they may run some occasonal workshops.

Malcom writes: "We have recently set up Aberdeen Tangueros Society in Aberdeen with Sarah Morris as our teacher. To date we have a regular Thursday night classes and Practica.
Every Thursday, Tiger Tiger, Ship Row Aberdeen.
Beginners : 7.30pm
Improvers: 8.45pm
Practica: 9.30 to 10.30 pm
Regular special events i.e. vesting teachers and classes, and regular Milongas. The last event was a masked ball on the 13th of Feb 2005 at which Jenny & Ricardo gave classes and performance. We have run 2 such events since November last year and plan more in the coming months etc."
